-Troops Parade- Officers and Kursants (cadets) from various academies from the USSR begin their march past Red Square. This year's parade introduced flute players, and front buglers for the Suvorov military school band. The Moscow Honor Guard Regiment also participates in the parade by carrying the Banner of Victory (over Nazi Germany) down Red Square.

This is the opening to the parade in Moscow's Red Square, devoted to the 58th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. In this part we see the opening to the parade, with minister of defense, Marshal of the Soviet Union, Andrei Grechko, along with Moscow Military District Commander, Colonel General, Vladimir Gororov inspect the troops that are to participate in the parade. This would be Marshal Grechko's final parade before his death in April, 1976.
