Second outing with Flyfly Aermacchi MB339 with Kolibri turbine power. I spent yesterday stripping and rebuilding the stock Flyfly Oleo legs and mountings, changing all the rivets for nuts and bolts, changing the 3mm mounting rods for M4 socket head cap screws tapped into the legs and locating the clamps with grub screws, heavy grease provided some damping; all seemed to do the trick - retracts now required for a bit more speed. I know removing the ordnance would do it but it just looks so ...
