V&T Railroad -- The Reno Car plus Part 2 Gold Hill Car with Tom Gray
This one's dedicated to Butch! Here we see some rough shots of the area around the Virginia and Truckee Railroad's F Street Depot/Station in Virginia City, Nevada. As the train rolls in we see the newly acquired Reno car sitting across the street in the parking lot. This car was built in 1910 in the Harriman style, but it's not a Harriman Coach. Eastbound California Zephyr arrives at Colfax, CA
The Eastbound Amtrak California Zephyr, Amtrak #6, arrives at the Colfax Depot to pick up a group of passengers. Led by GE P42DCs #167 and 178, this train will depart Colfax, CA in a few minutes and continue east up the Donner Pass towards Truckee and Reno. The train will eventually wind up in Denver and then continue onto Chicago, IL. Video was taken in Colfax, CA on 10/30/09 at 1:06pm.

Bathroom reno Day7
We have the plumbing done, drywall up, shower platform and pan installed, and most of the cement board up. Next will be the drywall taping and compound, and finishing the cement board. We may get to the tiles tomorrow as well. I joked that I would spend my vacation in the bathroom. Well, only half my vacation...the rest was at Home Depot! Trina has been a big help
