Quick, rubbish tour of my garden. We had major winds here and it broke part of my fence :-( I have to wait on my landlord to fix it though ¬_¬ Also, one of my housemates broke the mop bucket...hence why it's outside...silly housemates.

Fixing Wahl Clipper Guards or Combs using refrigerator magnets. Some Wahl Clipper Guards do not have the triangular elevations on the Release Tab to create positive attachment. It's weird, but some Wahl guards have them and some don't. This is a quick fix and you get some magnetic sticking power depending on the magnets you use. Of course the steel tabs ones are probably best, but the nylon plastic ones aren't bad if fixed and you'll save some green.

To keep the twins occupied I came up with the following quick fix: a rubber band tied to a funnel to connect it to the running tap. The funnel fills up, the weight of the water makes it topple over and the water runs out making the funnel tilt back only to be filled up again. Repeat until the bath is full or the kids get bored with it.
