IRI, Turkey to reopen joint border market.wmv

The governor of Salmas city in West Azerbaijan province, northwest Iran, said Friday that the two countries agreed to reopen joint border market during the Iranian delegation's official visit to Ankara. "The agreement stating reopening of the market is to be signed on January 11, 2010 in Igdir, Turkey," Ammari said. The market was opened in 1991 and had been active for two years, but was closed down in 1992. The ninth government agreed to reopen it in 2006.
