2009 NZ MTB Orienteering Champs - Long distance
The big day - the long distance - of the Nationals was won by Andrew Bott, ahead of debutante MTB orienteer Mark 'Cabin' Leishman, both pro elite mountanbikers. Oceania Champion (sprint orienteering) Jamie Stewart was third. Marquita Gelderman won womens again, taking all three distances at the Nationals, ahead of kath Copland each time.

無國界醫生野外定向2010 www.orienteering.msf.org.hk 每年，無國界醫生派出超過2000名來自60多個國家的志願人員，遠赴全球約70個處於戰亂、天災、飢荒、疫症或貧窮的國家。這些擁有不同文化、不同背景的志願人員，無分國界、翻山涉水為有需要的人提供緊急及基本的醫療服務。在救援工作的現場，他們也曾目睹不少生活在偏遠地區的病人，需跨過重重險阻，徒步千里去尋求醫療援助。 2002年1月，無國界醫生舉辦了第一屆無國界醫生野外定向，讓不能親身參與人道救援工作的香港市民，體驗無國界醫生志願人員不畏艱辛的精神，與及病人缺乏
