In den Einsatz gelangen die neuen Züge ab 1990, doch wer zu spät kommt, den bestraft das Leben: sie bleiben eine Splittergattung, denn 1994 kommt der erste Niederflur-Gelenkwagen nach Magdeburg, und so werden die T6A2 wohl keine 40 Jahre bleiben wie die T4D...
