In my opinion, good hair is healthy hair! The media places a big role in young people's lives but it's our opinion on what to believe. I have been transitioning to have natural hair for a month and it's been the longest month of my life. I have received alot of negativity from class mates but at the end of the day I know that this is something that I want to do. It's not going to be easy but I know that beauty is something that you were born with and I was born with NATURAL HAIR!...

Why such negative views on natural hair when it is the hair that NATURALLY grows out of our scalps? I'm now having mixed feelings about doing my big chop: empowered and at the same time needing encouragement. Had a talk with some of my clients and it's upsetting to me how many people feel about natural hair and mostly big chops!
