NJMP August 17th, 2009 - Hooked on Driving Event. Drove over 100 miles on this track! It was a fast track - topped out around 125 mph on the straight-away. My brakes really took a beating. I would like to thank all of the staff and volunteers that came out to New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) the open test on 12/12/2009. The facility that has been built in South Jersey is absolutely awesome. I have never experienced that type of hospitality by a group running a racetrack. I also have to admit running the road course in a Modified is a blast. I was also very impressed by how well the Dirt Modifieds got around the place. PJ Jacobsen had his debut at New Jersey Motorsports Park this year competing in the AMA Supersport Class. PJ took pole position but had an unfortunate false start which demolished his odds of winning in his first outing with the AMA.
