What Is Prayer?

What Is Prayer?

. OK, so what? Well, it hit me recently that the technological advances of the last few decades might make it plausible to understand the physics of prayer. Crazy, huh? Could it be that the mathematical/physical properties of spiritual communication are similar to the mathematical/physical properties of natural communication? Just Think. At any given moment, a nearly infinite number of invisible pathways are filled with a nearly infinite number of sights and sounds. With cell phones, ...

Game Theory, Lecture 2: The Nature of the Game (3/3)

MAY MATHEMATICS BE FREE! Ever since modern game theory—the scientific study of interactive, rational decision making—achieved prominence in the mid-20th century, it has proven instrumental in helping us understand how and why we make decisions. Game theory plays a crucial role in our lives and provides startling insights into all endeavors in which humans cooperate or compete, including biology, computer science, politics, agriculture, and, most importantly, economics. One is to grow large without measure. The other is to form a fraction in which the denominator goes to zero. The Cross is a path of humility in which the infinite God becomes finite and then contracts to zero ...

NONOMINO(Group C2)

NONOMINO(Group C2)

A nonomino (9-omino) is a polyomino of order 9, that is, a polygon in the plane made of 9 equal-sized squares connected edge-to-edge. In our project, we collect the recycled boxes as our materials. Because of the shape and the concept is similar with 9-omino, but the real 9-omino is far more complex than our fun project, (we dont want you to do mathematics in our playground, we just wish you to have fun), so we call our project as no-no-mino instead of 9-omino.
