my early works took place last winter at the Village Veranda located in the Village of the Arts in Bradenton, Florida. These wall hangings use cottons, wool and metallic threads which are first dyed using the ikat technique. The threads are then threaded through the loom where I create the shifting of the colors prior to the weaving of the fabric.
