acceleration is so much better than the DE/DM crap we have at the LIRR. Trains are scheduled to leave GCT every 15 min or so REVERSE PEAK. Something the LIRR would never dream of. And most diesels are able to run into GCT as dual modes, because MNRR had the foresight to have enough cars and locos. It also helps that the trains dont need to be double ended.
