House prices edge up further

House prices increased for the fourth month running in November, Hometrack figures have shown. The company's house price index saw the average value of a home increase by nought point two per cent during the month. This amounts to a fall of two point nine per cent annually. While the findings offered signs of confidence, Hometrack did warn that many areas of England and Wales are failing to see growth. London and the south east, however, saw the most rises in prices.
