Mike Kamm sat in the back seat of my 67 Plymouth GTX, an original 30000 mile Hemi 4 speed car, while I carefully baby it down Norwalks 1/4 mile dragstrip. This pass was run on original style G70-14 bias ply tires, so there was tire spin. Thats why I had to back pedal a little in 1st and the shift light never went off in 2nd. I had the light set to come on at 6500 rpm, but wasn't shifting untill 7000. This was a mid 11 second pass at about 124 mph.
