Shanghai, November 7, 2009: Singapores very own Lam Chih Bing is flying the local flag high at the WGC-HSBC Champions at Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai. After three rounds, he lies at +4, and more importantly, tied with Barclays Singapore Open 2009 winner Ian Poulter, and the 2009 British Open champion Stewart Cink. He talked to Golf Digest Singapore editor after the second round about his experience.

This reachable par 5 plays around one of Sentosas lagoons, and offer long hitters the opportunity to get on the green in two. But they need to thread their tee shots (long hitters like Lam Chih Bing use 3-wood off the tee) between rows of coconut trees before they have a chance to hit their balls in excess of 200m to the putting surface.
