Early color footage of the Keeneland thoroughbred horse racing facility which opened in 1936. The horses are shown by trainers a principal from the facility. The lady reviewing the horses would later enter the winners of the '63 and '67 Kentucky Derby, '72 Epson Derby, and '85 Breeders' Cup Classic. The footage is in remarkably good condition.

In this video, Betty and her husband, Rick, go to Keeneland Horse Race track in Lexington, Kentucky, about 30 miles from our home. There are four restaurants at Keeneland, three of which are open to the public. We obtained a reservation to the Equestrian Room, which has a very nice atmosphere for watching the horse races.
