A Bedini type pulse motor driven by a Rodin coil. The rotor is a 3/4 inch cylinder, magnetized thru the diameter, ( Neodymium N42 strength from KJ Magnetics ) It is mounted on a wooden drive shaft over the Rodin coil. A 555 timer provides the variable frequency pulses to the coil. Power is +15 VDC. The motor has surprisingly good torque and speed for its size.
