Jharkhand records good voter turnout despite Maoist violence
Jharkhand, December 05(ANI): Defying the Maoist poll boycott call,the first and the second phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand ended peacefully.The combined effort of the administration and the heavy deployment of security forces resulted in people participating in the elections.This was evident from official data that showed more than 54 percent voting turnout in the state.
