Iwate Swan 18: Autumn Reflections
So here is a super sized Iwate Swan episode full of various goodies. This was shot in the last half o November and the start of December. Teaching seminars, keeping warm in my Japanese house, bathroom construction, Christmas cards, goosebumps books, national holidays, Christmas shopping and so much more is covered in this episode. Iwate Swan 17: Marukan Department Store
So the Christms shopping continues in this episode where I am on the hunt for some Christmas Cards. The Marukan Department store in Hanamaki is pretty famous as it is one of the older shopping centers in the city. In the past 10 years newer places like the Ito Yokado featured earlier in the city have sprung up, but I figured it would be fun to visit this relic of Hanamaki's shopping past.
