did not have a list of demands available for most of the day. I later discovered this morning that 26 students were arrested at about 3 am. They were charged on misdemeanor accounts such as trespassing and resisting arrest. I found out also, that their requests were outrageous, such as requesting all student loans be dismissed, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq end, and using that 'left over' money to feed and clothe the poor.

Another thing we wanted to demonstrate in our documentary is how easily influenced and biased our perception of the media can be. The Iraqi Voices Amplification Project team journeyed from Damascus, Syria, south to the ancient city of Bosra. The team was accompanied by a group of young adults from the Iraqi Student Project. IPS is a grass roots effort to help young Iraqis acquire an education in US colleges and universities. Amid the ancient ruins, we spoke with several students about their hopes and dreams.
