Iowa Traction locomotive No. 54 crew accomplished a flying drop on the morning of November 9, 2009, at Mason City IA. First the engine got three loaded cars rolling and quickly pulled ahead to duck onto another track. After the engine passed, a brakeman aligned the switch so that the three free-rolling cars would couple onto another cut of cars.
