George wanted a ride and we seemed to be in the middle of something for a good 10 minutes. We had heavy traffic, yellow flags for spins, near spins in front of us, un-yielding drivers (the car sounded good), close call to a three way collision where we were the meat in the sandwich. It all settled down after these 3-4 laps to an uneventful day of fun. Actually these few laps were fun and kept me on my toes. My E36 M3 is fast, but no power to pass on straights.

Jared Thompson driving Jason Montgomery's 2009 Dodge Viper rt10 around Infineon Raceway at a Track Masters and Speed Ventures event. The car is bone stock from the showroom floor and produces 600bhp. Infineon Raceway is one of the most technical circuits in north America. Jared is a driving instructor at the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School and he has been driving on track at Infineon for almost 11 years.
