Here we see some varied action on the IHB and some more early BNSF action on the racetrack. This is in July 1996 same day as the BRC series chapter 5. We also chase an IHB transfer on the BNSF headed to Cicero IL.

Filmed in July 1996 were at the BRC's Clearing yard in Bedford Park IL. , we see a large amount of yard work being done with a nice assortment of first generation EMD power. We then see an inbound train on the 59th street cutoff and then head to La Grange, IL. where we catch an unsual post UP lash up on the IHB.

An EMD Led CN Light Engine Move
A CN SD70M-2 and ES44DC come down the connection from the IHB to CN's Elsden Sub. They were waiting for a train ahead of them to clear, and also caution for the grade crossing, hence why they are accelerating here. It was kind of neat to see an EMD leading with no train behind them.
