Here wer are once again at the Poughkeepsie station. This is the time I had before boarding, the train. You can see the trains in the yard and a Penn Station bound Amtrak train arrive and depart. Then you'll see the 8:40 switch.

The track change you hear about was the next Soutbound due to the Fall Foliage excursion train at Cold Spring and the need to clear track down to Tarrytown. Being On Vacation, and with no Croton Harmon Open House this year, I decided to venture out to the northern parts of Metro North Territory on the Hudson Line. And what good place to video tape but the bucholic scene of Manitou which is a flag stop only served by one peak train each way during the weekday, and no service on the weekends.
