Hillhouse Students Volunteer with NHS of New Haven and United Way

On August 11th, 2009 forty-two high school football players and their coaches filled four thirty-yard dumpsters with plaster and lathe. They spent hours on the hot summer day gutting the interior of an abandoned house recently acquired by NHS to be rehabbed. The students were from the local Hillhouse High School, and the volunteer event was an excellent opportunity for them to give back to their community.
