HDR-FX7 Videos

I've heard people always complain about the Sony HDR-FX7 camcorder sucking in dim light conditions. Have you tried to jack down the gain? It'll reduce the noise (sometimes at the price of darker footage) and in really low light scenarios I'd also reduce the shutter speed. Although doing these tweaks can drastically improve your video quality I also still use a video light attachment whenever possible. More info at www.videomaker.com

I just got a Sony HDR-FX7 for Christmas and decided to test out the "Smooth Slow Motion" function. I know a lot of the clips are grainy but thats because they were shot in low light.
