A bit of an experiment here! My bass is on the fritz and I'm bass-ampless at the moment, but I've been going nuts over this bassline as of recent. So I decided to attempt doing the bass...on my guitar! It doesn't sound great at all, but I thought I'd put this up anyway! As soon as I get a bass rig sorted, I'll probably re-cover this, and probably some other Gorillaz songs, love their basslines. Also please excuse my "Bass" face! Gear used: Carvin Bolt-T Laney LC15 Boss ME50 (for delay, OD and the pitch modulator to drop it an octave...which didn't sound so great!)

My cover of Enter Shikari by Enter Shikari. Guitar is rather bad at the moment, I only had Guitar Pro 5 guitar sounds to use, as my soundcard gives me latency issues when recording on Guitar Rig =\ will re-upload with better guitar later =) maybe even vocals later, dunno yet. The intro is just a sample of the first note from Stand Your Ground; This is Ancient Land, and I took the screams from some video on youtube, sampled them. Used Reason 4.0 (for samples, synths and drums), Audacity (for editing and mixing) and Guitar Pro 5 (for guitar). If you want to use the audio from the video please ask first, as if I find any video on youtube with my audio without my permission, I will have youtube delete it and ban you =) if you ask you will get XD

Hi, this is a quick soundcheck for my live-guitar rig using a Line6 POD X3 Pro (=effects, 2.nd diggi-amp for dualtones plus midiswitching), ENGL 570 tube preamp, TC-Electronics G-MAJOR, ENGL 840/50, 2x212 ENGL Cabs (Celstion 30's) - stereo, miced with Shure SM57 on axis about 1 inch off the cone, no audio editing, Guitar: Gibson Les Paul Custom 1993 "Black Beauty". There are a lot of mistakes as I could hardly hear the backing track (recorded at a nice level - ask the neighbours ;-)) but this is to show one of the rig's sounds. In this case it is a pure tube sound, Engl 570 on channel 3 (soft lead with high gain switch engaged). Verb and delay from G-Major... The intro is from the Wild Frontier Album - keys performed by Axel (our man on the keys at "The Foundation"). The rest is from guitarbt.com Comments appreciated!
