Richard Shireby, G0OJF; plays the finished Conacher opus 446 1877 all tracker pipe organ, in the workshop of Ireland-Shireby Church Organ Builders, Sudbrook, Grantham, Lincolnshire (UK). This organ has received a very full schedule of restoration work costing around £35000. The organ came in a heavily vandalised state from Lower Skircoat Green (copley-Halifax) former United Methodist Free Church (Laterly Seventh Day Adventist), in 1999. Richard Shireby G0OJF, plays the c1890 Parsons tracker pipe organ at Lincoln Burton Road Methodist Church. We have now purchased this organ & work will start on restoration in our workshop shortly. There are currently no stops above 4' on this 4+4 small instrument. We will be adding a Fitteenth to the Great, making it 5+4 speaking stops. Brindley & Foster (tracker) pipe organ installed in St Lawrence Church, Tinsley, Sheffield where I was organist at the time. My late Mother deputised for me. I went back to visit this year (2009) in July & to take photos to go with this audio only clip. I've no idea who the piece is by but did manage to find a photocopy of the music in a folder of hers.
