This recording at least 90 years old Im expanding my Youtube to include Vertical Cut records and to start this is none other than a venture of Thomas A Edison himself. Edison records used his Business to create a record that was apart from other dominate record formats in both execution and materials. Speed 80 rpms, Time almost 4 minutes, Vertical cut (Hill and Dale), Composite and no Shellac. I used my spare Stylus and used a few splices to make it vertical movement sensitive only and in doing this cut out the background noise common in a stereo cartridge. After my first recording with the set up I was besides myself. Edison really knew what he was doing even if his stubbornness and running his business as an extension of his personal taste. The grooves are closely spaced and fine and the response is amazing for a acoustic records with one exception. The record to my ears sounds like it was duded from another source. There is a small even range of noise the covers 100 Hz to 2000 Hz...
