This is christmas opening fireworks in Jyväskylä, Finland 22.11.2009. This video has been made in a hurry, so I didn't had time to adjust settings in the camera and screen is shaking when getting into somewhat reasonable good place to film. It has been made with Panasonic DMC-FZ18. Sorry about the "Wow" -word, but it was darn beautiful explosion. xD

Donna Nook Seal Colony 4 Nov 2009

The Donna Nook Grey Seal Colony on 4th November 2009, Early in the Season. Most of the seals in this clip were within 25m of the public footpath. The dayglow and other manmade objects you can see are the targets for the RAF Donna Nook bombing range. The seals and the RAF seem to co-exist happily. Video take using the video mode of my Panasonic Lumix FZ18 camera.

BNSF 6318 East by Earlville, Illinois on 10-25-09

it looked quiet according to the ATCS Monitor until the Amtraks were due to pass. So after this one, I packed up to head north and the BNSF Aurora sub. I added some "B-roll" Picture in Picture that was shot with my photo camera (Panasonic DMC-FZ18) of the noisy and moving rail joint that the train is going over. Hand-held, but the image stabilizer seems to work well. So I think it looks OK. And about that last clip of the train wiggling over the crossovers and the Union Pacific Troy Grove ...
