Help! Advice Needed!
HEY! Look at that! An actual video of me! Yes, I need help from you guys! Seriously, what kind of camera should I get and what kind of software to edit it with? I'm clueless. All I've got is this shitty web came built in my laptop. (The black and white is my own setting. The crappy quality isn't.) 1080i to 1080p in Final Cut Pro
This tutorial shows you how to capture 1080i footage and export it as 1080p in Final Cut Pro 6. The same concepts probably apply to Final Cut Pro 5 and 7 as well, but I can't be 100% certain. Camera used was the Sony HDR-FX1 and the capture preset was Apple ProRess 422 1080 60i (not HQ) on a early 2008 MacBook Pro. For an immediate response to your questions, please send me a message.
