UP GE ES44AC 5549 or 5349 leads an intermodal train with UP EMD SD70M 5088! This train has two DPU's as well and they are UP GE ES44AC 5301, and UP SD70M 4078! UP GE ES44AC 7814 leads UP EMD SD70M. This train is an autorack/intermodal. This train also had a DPU and it was UP GE ES44AC 5320. This train was heading EB through Palm Springs Amtrak Station on the Transcontinental Rail Line. BTW, the track closest to the Amtrak Station is obviously Amtrak, but I've never been that close to concrete ties and have never been at a Amtrak Sunset Limited Station either! time I've seen tons of concrete ties! LOL! Also my first time railfanning the trains with windmills and mountains around them! LOL! The first train I caught was this one, obviously, it was UP ES44AC 5764 leading UP SD70M 4484, then UP SD70M 4564, then UP ES44AC 7703 ?, then the DPU was UP ES44AC 7864! This was an intermodal train and entire one no autoracks just containers and lots of them had 3 continers in one bed of the intermodal car 2 small ones making one big seperate from each other ...
