HMS E18 Discovered; Churchills Lost Sub Found
In early June 1916 the Royal Navy Submarine HMS E18 was lost with all hands in the Baltic. 33 men lost their lives. The submarine was part of one of the most successful submarine operations in history ordered by First Sea Lord Sir Winston Churchill. In October 2009 the wreck of the submarine was discovered by a team led by historian-explorer Carl Douglas, including among others Darren Brown and Jonas Dahm.
