A Morning on the Danville District

We start with a southbound TOFC heading into Pomona Yard to swap out some cars. Next, A northbound unit gondola train rumbles by. We move south to the Hilltop Rd. crossing where a very late Carolinian heads past the scrap yards. Then, the same SB TOFC from earlier blasts up the grade continuing to Linwood. Snow in Danville, CA

I'm off a week. This was actually on December 7th, not the 14th. The snow storm that hit Washington DC and the eastern seaboard hit California first. It snowed at sea level locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Last time this happened was the winter of 1975!
