csx conrail Cartersville local

November 18, 2009 approx 1pm CSX local from 1 yard pulls train into 2nd cartersville yard on knoxville line after switching and switches some more placing various cars on different tracks then heads back to the other yard for more switching. No trains that day except coal drags, a csx worker (super ?) told me, due to track work in Atlanta.

CSX Q226 With Amazing All Conrail Power Elephant Style

CSX Q226 is eastbound through Amity St. in Homestead, PA. Crappy K5LA on the leading C40-8W. Quite amazingly, both units were in Conrail Paint, and were both in excellent condition.
