BCIT students walk the walk as they release adult salmon into Guichon Creek - an urban waterway - for the first time in decades. It is part of a project to track the fish as they make their way up the creek. The project is a community effort that will help ascertain if a fish ladder is a viable project to help the fish return to their natural spawning grounds on the BCIT campus.

Coho fishing action on Swiftsure Bank, on Vancouver Island's west coast -- fishing out of Port Renfrew BC with Hindsight Fishing Charters. The fishing action is fast and furious here -- fast trolling for coho (silvers) and somewhere towards 10 coho hooked in 8 minutes. Some landed, some lost, but no shortage of fun!
