Chrissie Hynde instantly became one of my favorites when this one came out. I loved the sound of this one. The opening guitar riff, the kickdrum and I was out on the floor. Short, but sweet and saucy! New Wave had been seeping in the clubs along with the rise of disco, but it morphed elements of disco into its basic structure. Remember Joy Division? This was all proof that disco had transformed new wave.
