A video highlighting '69 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with 351W motor, 4V carburetor. Aside from the brake issues, the car is in great shape! Still deciding whether I should continue with the small modifications that are already in place or whether I should take her back to original.

1946 Evinrude Big Four. Hearing and seeing this motor run helps one appreciate Evinrude's finest hour, because this is the postwar civilian version of the motor that carried our troops across the Rhine in the invasion of Germany. 4 cylinder opposed with one hell of a single carburetor. The cylinders fire in pairs top to bottom.

2009 NHRA Division 7 Champion (8-9 yo) - Austin Hubert.m2ts
his victory and won the special JDRL Challenge Trophy. Amazingly, Austin was able to win this championship with a $1500 homebuilt car, a Bo Huddleston 12.90 Pea Shooter 5 HP engine (Bo's first one ever built), a Comet clutch, 18 mm Mikuni Carburetor, no weather monitoring devices and no computer. Fuel Line Installation Tip
off the angled end of the line : put on the fuel filter. Pull the other end until only seven inches of the line is left in the tank. To reach from the tank to the carburetor I leave five inches of tubing. Normally I'll do 7" in 5" out. Starting with 14" of tubing. Two inches of the tubing is left over. Connect the fuel line to the carburetor, and that should do it. Don't worry about the prime line since it won't have any kind of filter on it. ------------- I had written these steps by using ...

Weber DCOE 40 Carburetors on an Alfa Romeo Spider: 1st-3rd Gears
Side exiting just in front of the driver's rear fender well is a Monza Twin Tip welded to a Monza center resonator piece & single glass pack combo. The combination of the glass pack and center resonator make for a sound from the Twin Tip that I really like... It's pretty close to "too loud", but it's keeping me young!
