Iv'e changed the sensor and added a capacitor over the base and emitter on the transistor so the pulses get softer. And because of that the motor runs even more quiet.

All bakelite block capacitors are restuffed. Tone control capacitor well is restuffed and potted with GE Silicone II. All out of tolerance resistors replaced. Electrolytic capacitors replaced. All tubes repopulated. I used new old stock. I have to test the original tubes still. I was able to power up the radio and it works! The shadow meter works only on strong statons. The AVC voltage has to be checked. Need to also align the 3 IF stages. Radio seems to be sensitive and has lots of volume! ...
