Cadets' Street Beat (performed by me)
Note: The audio is from a recording of the 2008 version of "Street Beat." The audition packet I received for the 2010 audition has the solo sections cut out. So here's me playing on a Vic Firth Quadropad. I've never had any kind of lessons on tenors or with marching percussion in general so I'm interested in what the public thinks. I would greatly appreciate CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on things I should work on. Again, if you can't critique positively then please don't comment at all....

Stranded In The Jungle - Steve Bob & Rich
Recorded Sept. 11, 1983 in Shawnee Mission Park, at the Last Blast of Summer KY-102 event. "Stranded In The Jungle" Was Originally released by The Jayhawks 1956, then covered by The Cadets, 1956 Notice the "crowd" that has never even heard of Steve Bob & Rich. They came out for the Secrets and Fools Face. My guess is that they weren't really sure if this 3 piece was even a "real band". Also notice that they warmed up to SB&R and never looked back. -Troops Finale & Parade of Vehicles- In this final segment of the troops march we have Suvorov cadets, Nakhimov cadets, and Army kursants.
