This program is an implementation of the Bi-Directional Similarity algorithm by Simakov et al (2008) - paper: www.wisdom.weizmann.ac.il Improved by the PatchMatch algorithm by Barnes et al (2009) - paper: www.cs.princeton.edu The work was done as an extracurricular project, and in order to test the algorithm under several parameters sets. Bench testing 0-6-0 locomotive 'Harlech Castle'
7.25" gauge model of the Ffestiniog Railway's "Harlech Castle" locomotive is tested on the workbench to ensure the drive system works properly. The motor is a bi-directional Bosch 750watt 24volt motor, powered by two 85amp hour leisure batteries and controlled by a 4QD Pro 120 controller.
