For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, an intoxicated man has fallen into the Fraser River along the boardwalk off Quayside Dr in New Westminster. The latest incident was Oct 28th around 6PM. Police were called to save a 20s male who was found floating in the frigid water. A rescue boat was used to retreive him and take him to shore where he was treated by BCAS.
