Eagle Nest, New Mexico - January 1, 2010... This is the second annual Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day. 2009 had 17 jumpers. 2010 had around 80 jumpers. It was 13 degrees outside and the water was 34 degrees. This was my first year to jump. I will definitely be back next year.
