My little project to change out pedal footboard round protective rubber washers and replace them with 5 1/4x1 3/8 heavy duty rubber strip. I glued this new rubber strip down already and drilled screw holes both sides. Just a few minutes ago I played with my pedals and everything worked out great. Pedal is NOT shaky anymore and stays very tight on the plate of my kick drum.
