Thomas the Tank steams off - aided by Class 33 diesel engine
Thomas the Tank is assisted out of Alresford station by a class 33 diesel engine. Filmed at Alresford on the Mid Hants Railway (MHR) during the Wizard Week October 2009. The MHR line is sometimes called The Hampshire Alps and also the Watercress Line.

Thomas Tank rescued from car park by class 33 diesel engine
Thomas the Tank arrives in the car park at Alresford (Mid Hants Railway) during the middle of Wizard Week. The kids arrive expecting to see Harry Potter, but instead they see Thomas being maneuvered around a large yellow track machine that has trapped Thomas in the car park. A class 33 diesel engine moves everything around so that TT can escape the dreaded parking warden. A Wizard Express hauled by Wadebridge 34007 gets in the way. Eventually TT escapes up the hill to Ropley engine shed. ...

Steam. Thomas tank goes diesel after Harry Potter's 9F diesel reducto curse
Steam engine 92212 arrives at Alresford for the Wizard Express as Professor Dumbledore and Harry Potter board the train. Harry performs the 9F Diesel Reducto curse to summon Thomas the Tank into the car park. The curse removes Thomas's steam engine and replaces it with a loud diesel engine.
