Scranton, Pennsylvania 11/28/2009 Part 3: Steam fun and CP's Holiday Train

More footage from Scranton, Pennsylvania. We start off with the crew of CP Holiday train with CP AC44CW 9824 pulling a little farther up the track to position themselves for the show (not the last time they do this) as CN 2-82 3254 pulls into the station to let the passengers off her train, and then pulls up the line so they can shove their into the yard, as CP 4-6-2 2317 shoves her train out of the yard and stops to wait for CN 3254 to clear the switch (next video). CSXT E503

1:24 PM CSXT E503, a unit empty coal train, rolls west at Lightfoot with an AC44CW and an SD70MAC for power. Note the horn salute from the K5LAR24 just before he passes me...awesome! The consist of this train was quite a surprise: a mix of three-bay and four-bay hoppers! Most trains on this line just have the coalporter gons. It was nice to see these, and I hope to see them more often. The train was doing about 30 miles per hour. Recorded 11.28.2009

We had a yellow signal on the Old Main Line for Q370. Train9632W thought it was Q411, but it was really Q370. AC44CW #442 leads the way with ES40DC #5394. Q370 usually has garbage cars on there.
