Papierbrücke mit Unterspannung

Im Rahmen der Vorlesung Bautechnik sollten Papierbrücken gebaut und deren Tragkraft ermittelt (Zerstörung) werden. Die Spannweite musste mindestens 75cm betragen, die Brücke freitragend sein und nur aus Papier, Bindfaden, Klebstoff und Tesafilm bestehen. Hier unser Ergebnis - das Prinzip funktioniert, wäre allerdings die Verarbeitung etwas besser gewesen, hätte die Brücke länger standgehalten.

Jumping on Bodie

13/12/2009 Jumping on Bodie 75cm :D Jumped around 85 at the end but there's no video of that Yeah I should sit up after the jump. But I was proud of 83 for being so fantastic so we can ignore that.

Muskoka Storm Snowshoe

After a snowfall of 75 cm, I decided to take a walk down to the lake. Having to clear a path to the shed where the snowshoes were thoughtfully stored last summer, I made it down. Not a creature could I see, except the Golden Eye Mergansers far off on the other side of the dock. We are still digging out.
