Hill Gala on 8th August 2009. Part 5 of 5. In this part: - Onboard the shuttle we have another run behind 56006. Not as spectacular as the first one though - After leaving the shuttle was intrigued to see what looked like a big furry microphone on the side of 55019, they were doing tests on the engine but don't know why - 47818 arrives on the shuttle with 56006 on the read. The grid then runs offbeing replaced by advenza shed 66841 which seemed to be the most sought after engine of the day ...

56006 BR Class 56 Heavy Freight loco, by Ian Jenkins. Sounds by Kieron Gill, cabview by Kenji. Re-Skinned to 2009 condition by JBilton. Prototype is currently stored in working condition at Barrowhill, hopefully it will be preserved as it is one of the original 30 locos built for BR in Romanian in 1976, and the only one left in corporate BR Blue.
