Blow Through Test of Modified 4G93 Proton Cyl Head

Blow through test on a Proton 4G93 DOHC cylinder head. Modified inlet ports. The idea was to look for vortices. It doesn't look like vortices are present. Note that the shape of the inlet manifold seems to impart a transverse component to the flows.

Blow through test on a Proton 4G93 DOHC cylinder head. Standard inlet ports. The idea was to look for vortices. It doesn't look like vortices are present. Note that both threads are tethered at the same place on each side of the splitter but they emerge from the port in very different places.

Solution GDI 4G93 engine idle issues

More info here! If your problem is of another nature, I can't be of any help. My experience with cars starts and ends (?) here. Sorry. Idle problems on the GDI-engine is in several cases due to an permanent magnet coming loose inside the electromagnet-motor on the throttle body. The loose magnet gets in the way and the flow damper can't work normally.
