your wireless is slow. comcast 33$ a month service. this is across a 130Mbps wireless n. i do not have a dual band router. the router is on the 3rd floor and was covered and the laptop was on the second floor. thats right. the test was done through the floors. my equipment is a dir-655. some old motorola modem, and my nic card is a intel 4965agn. no hacks or firmware updates to the moto or nic card. only factory f/w for the dir-655 downloaded from their site..

I have a Compal JHL90 with a Intel 4965 wlan card in it, the problem is that it sometimes makes a connection with my router when Ubuntu has started but most of the time it isn't working. I have this problem since I got this laptop (begin January) and hoped that an update of the kernel or something else would fix this, as you can see it's still not working. If I want to have a connection I can do it like I did in the video.
